Walker-Claggett-Willhoite Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Alumni of Kappa Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha have established the Walker-Claggett-Willhoite Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of Brothers John Walker, Tim Claggett and Kevin Willhoite.

At the conclusion of each semester, the WCW Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide a series of financial awards to Transylvania Pikes who have earned a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher.

A Legacy of Brotherhood and Friendship

The Walker-Claggett-Willhoite Memorial Scholarship Fund honors the memory of three legendary fraternity brothers.

John Walker, Tim Claggett and Kevin Willhoite brought friendship, laughter and love into the lives of countless Transylvania University classmates. They each were inspirational leaders and mentors to their fraternity brothers and friends. Their individual impact upon the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity still resonates to this day.

Donations to this fund will provide “mini scholarships” that will be awarded every semester. These awards are Academic Performance Grants that will be paid directly to each Pike that achieves a semester GPA of 3.1 or higher.

The financial burden of attending college for many is staggering. Today, a graduate from a private Kentucky college takes with them an obligation for over $31,000 dollars in student debt.

Your gift will leave a legacy that will honor Robert, Kevin and Tim for years to come.
