Kappa Chapter (Actives)
Kappa Chapter wins in campus
probation by Transylvania University for alleged hazing incident. The University rules that Kappa must restrict all social activities until the end of the school year.
(UPDATE) The 60 days of Social Probation sanctions levied against Kappa in early March have expired.

Alumni Weekend – April 24-25, 2015
Atomic Café – Cocktail Party - Over 30 active brothers attended the KCAA Cocktail Party on Friday evening after a day at the races in Keeneland. Many brothers shared stories and are excited to see the KCAA up and running. (See Photos)
KCAA officers met with Dr. Carey and other University officials to discuss Greek life on campus and various options necessary to meet the challenges that the University faces while supporting Fraternities/Sororities along with Independents on campus. Also discussed was the increasing need for inclusion of all students on campus to participate in open social activities along with the Greeks.
1st Annual KCCA Annual Meeting and Luncheon was held in the President’s Dining Room serving a capacity crowd of over 65 brothers spanning many decades.

The Alumni were invited and many attended the active chapter initiation ceremony for three new brothers that weekend. We welcome our newly initiated brothers: Richard Churchman, Logan Conley, Jody Robinson.

Other Business
On May 19th, all the remaining items from the Chapter Room were moved to the interim space until the new dorms are completed.
Dr. Allen Eskridge was appointed the Bluegrass Regional President of PKA, effective 2/1/15. He is a 1991 initiate of Kappa Chapter.
Get Kappa’s mandatory insurance premiums paid to National under control (currently $16K annually)
