First Friday Pike Social

Greetings Brothers!

The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was described to me as a secret social college fraternity with a life-long commitment. After graduating college, we know life takes over and time flies! Before you know it, you find that special someone, buy a house, start/raise a family and then send your children to college (to hopefully become Pikes). You probably keep up on social media with that handful of brothers that you grew close to or visit several of our brothers and their families, to see them grow through the years.

We all love this part of the fraternity and this is why we want to continue on our life-long journey with our fraternity!The Kappa Chapter Alumni Association (KCAA) and Kappa Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) are now catching our stride. We would like to further expand that special bond of brotherhood that we share to catch up with our fellow Pikes about our families, careers, hobbies, joys in our lives and re-live some of those "tall tales" of being an undergraduate on a regular basis. We cordially invite all Pikes to join us for the First Friday Pike Social at the SEC Sports Pub & Grill, located on 4379 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY to get together and hear what YOU are up to. Since this "First Friday" falls on the July 4th weekend, we are assuming a lot of brothers will be heading out of town...So, this month we will be meeting there on July 8th between 5pm & 8pm. If you are interested in their specials, on Friday they offer Happy Hour 4p-7p & 10p-2a, Prime Rib (starting around 6:30-7'ish) and Ladies Night & Karaoke from 9p-1a.

Below are the current dates throughout the remainder of the year that we are looking to hold this First Friday Pike Social; however please check the events listed on Kappa Chapter calendar for the most up to date information regarding any date, time or location changes.

You may or may not know that there are 1077 Pikes listed within the Lexington area. That is a major reason why we would like to start a having these reoccurring social events and build new Pike friendships within the central Kentucky area. All of us understand you don't always get a chance to go out for "guys night", so please feel free to bring your spouse or significant other, to introduce them to the group! We would also like to hear from you, as we look at planning several other local events throughout the year. Some ideas being floated around are having a alumni golf scramble & a family night attending a Lexington Legends baseball game with possibly loft or suite tickets available for KCAA members.
